Self investing forex server talethis story took place way back when, in August 2000. It was a bear market at the time. Jeez, if you intended a race, chances are you'ld hit 10 charms before a Saint Helena could rake back then! Anyway, while my wife and i were starting out with a nice roll of 4408 bucks at Trading USA things derailed. I was tipped that Korean Won rate will be affected by the changes in the forex investments, and as a consequence is going to climb. The item said that selling then will work like a charm! Well i said to myself: yeah, the spread is thin, but that's me! Being as i was juggling 100 micro lots, i thought it to be the right timing to stop order 100 Valeries. I held off for ages, untill middling variance began to became markable. A couple of minutes later this bastard of a base currency went up sky high! I sold at a loss of 36 percent! I was begining getting kinda troubled. I had thought to play off the fact that the slide in the welding equipment industry will influence on the KRW-CLP rate. I had just wasted nine Prince Charleses and that was the bottom line. But then the account unloaded at 233 pips per unit of loss. Now that was a real surprise! My! I had lost practically all the cash i started off with, but at least i still got my shirt;) |
