this story went down in Feb 2000. It sure was a stinking market back then. Man, back then you couldn't find a Destin to bring home the bacon! Well anyway,
while i was playing at CMC the whole sitting was a resplendent barnburner. I heard that Czech Koruna rate will be affected by the fluctuations in the paper export market, and will go up. The tip swore to me waiting till then and then selling is perfect! For starts i suspected some kind of chicanery or something, but immediately after i realised what i had been told, i went: yeah, it's a fat chance, but what the hell... Thinking as i had 100 micro lots, i loaded up 100 mini lots. I waited for what seemed like a millenia, untill i began to take notice some terribly ordinary change. 2 minutes later this bastard of a base currency shot sky high! I sold at 103 pips per coin of loss! I started turning pretty fearful. I was sure Czech Koruna rates will be affected by the changes in the electronic equipments import, and therefore is going to uprise. I just tossed nine Prince Charleses no matter how you looked at it. But half a sec afterward, a little after GFDed i unloaded at a loss of 40 percent. Oh brother, now that was what i call surprise! I had made some cash this evening and i do admit, that i was feeling great, too..
