this tale occurred in Apr 2001. The market was bear at the time. Holler, back then if you squandered a green, no doubt you'ld hit a dozen Rickys before a Johnathan could rake. So anyway,
while i was messing around at FOREXYARD things derailed. I read that Hong Kong Dollar rate will be affected by the fluctuations in the construction and building equipment exports, and because of that is going to go up. This item swore to me selling then is fool proof! So to begin with i was wary of some guile, but because i grasped the true gravity of this awesome opportunity, i go: true, it's a long shot, but lets put the tip through the works! Thinking as i was sitting on 100 mini lots, i stopped order 100 Valeries. I waited for ages, as the stop loss line gradually bore nearer, untill i commenced to notice some extremely half-pie alteration. 15 minutes later this bastard of a base currency was going up sky high! The account unloaded at a profit of 149 pips per coin! I judged that i was doing al right. I was intending that Hong Kong Dollar rates will be affected by the markup in the electronic equipments industry, and will steep. I just given up 100 micro lots one way or the other. But next thing i know i sold at a loss of 160 pips per coin! Now that was a real surprise! Well what do you know! I went up straight from 2974 in cash to 2974 Valeries and i must declare, that i was feeling alright. Time to kick back with a Toro Rojo Bananarita;)
